Calling all Video Game players - Reality Check in Progress

Well, I was just wondering who here plays video games. Not for spare time, I mean really play. Getting into the game so much you don't even realize time has past. Those are real games. You know when you play a game to a certain level... like man hunt. If you have never played that game at twilight with 20 people, you haven't lived. Such thrill, adrenaline, and excitment courses through you when you play... you become the game. Getting stuck in a brire bush - tear your way out, Tripping over a metal pipe - won't feel it until tomorrow, tightning you muscles and holding your breath as the enemy passes by you - true fear. You know you are trapped, cannot escape and yet, you still remain hidden as he/she passes by. You breath easy again. For now. That is the game. Now lets convert this... into the TV or Computer. Ever played a game like that? This is what a Video Game should be like. Or should it... There are many types of games as well. THere are shooters, racing, action adventure, fantasy, role-playing and many more. Each category has a specific "quality" people see in it that attracts them to games (wheither it be driving a race car or fighting monsters) that allows them to escape reality. A goal we all seek. Could these games be better for us than previously expected? I would like to know what kind of games you play (if any) and your personal out put on this subject.
